About Wells & Holland Family Tree
Please sign in to see more. WELCOME! This is an ongoing project of family research, so expect names to be added continually, and corrections to be made as errors are noted, or new information enlightens the truth. We recently discovered the names of our ancestors who connect our family to the American Indians. We are related to the Chickasaw Nation through the wife of Jesse Tyner, Elizabeth Mitchell. We are related to the Cherokee Nation through Jesse's father, Dempsey Tyner. My husband's paternal line has been traced back to 1648 in York. My paternal line has been traced back to 1570 in England, and 1566 in Scotland. I am currently researching additional information on the TYNER, MILLS, HULCY, HOLLAND, and WELLS family lines.
The purpose of publishing our family tree on this website is to make the research (done largely by my mother, and some by me, and of course picking up threads from dozens of other researchers where our trees interlace - a special THANK YOU to all those who have worked so hard and allowed us to benefit from your knowledge! *Salute*) available to all who are interested. Some notable researchers who have helped me inlclude Dennis Ward, Jane
Ikemura, "Willowkitty", "JK" and many others who have posted to my requests for help, or emailed me with treasured information over the years. Some people in our family who are not working on the tree have mentioned an interest in seeing the work when it is done (I don't think geneology research is EVER done! No one has managed to trace back to Ham, Shem or Japheth sons of Noah yet, to my knowledge. *HAHAHA*), so this is for you also. And I also hope that by making this research available we will make contacts with others who are working on the same family lines, and be able to increase one another's knowledge of our family Heritage. Please feel free to contact me by email or post in the Guestbook if you have any relevant information! If you need the Guest Password please email me directly, thanks! Privacy settings for living relatives have been implemented to protect our family. Thanks for understanding.
